Handlebars Haynes is offering a ‘5 point winter safety check’ of your cycle, for riding to work this winter. This is a free check that covers the essential aspects of your bike to keep you safe and on your way. I will check for loose, damaged and worn components and highlight or recommend anything that cannot be simply rectified at the time. Please just pop along and see Duncan between 9am and 4pm at the Teepee on 24th November or 1st December.
Cycling – yep, can do that and always have. I don’t think I can remember a time when I haven’t owned a cycle or two or three… I have always maintained my own bikes and that led to helping others too. More recently I have set about moving my 17 years of experience, being a ‘Handyman’, to full time bike tech. I decided to go about getting qualified and broaden my knowledge at ‘The Bike Inn’. Driven by my passion for high performance and perfection, but keeping a open mind to the needs of most everyday cyclists, I have set up a business to help my fellow cyclists. I love to sort out problems and most of all want to keep you enjoying your bike. I still ride nearly every day and can chat about my thousands of miles in the saddle, over a coffee (what else), should you pass by my workshop!
